"Man, I wish that this record sounded better."
You just finished recording and mixing your new songs but something is missing. It just
doesn't sound right or even worse, it doesn't sound like you at all.
Sound familiar? If so, I may me able to help. Bad recording and mixing sessions are no fun for
anyone. Even though the performance may be there, word of a bad recording can get out and
actually cause people to not buy your music.

Joe Rogers is an Independent Audio Recording and Mixing Engineer located in the Houston,
TX area.
"The first time that I ever walked into a studio, I was hooked. Hearing my drums in the
headphones with the effects and everything, I thought that it was magic. I knew right then and
there what I wanted to do."
Since that first studio experience, I have worked with hundreds of musicians from across the
world. Some you know, some you don't however, every musician and producer that I have
worked with always received 110% of my attention and dedication.
Why we're better
Joe will take the time to understand your musical passion. Prior to recording a band, I insist
that I'm able to see a show or sit in during a rehearsal. It's quite hard to record music that
you've never heard before. Simple things like deciding whether a song should end with a fade
or what kind of drum sound will work best for a particular song. These are things that we
should know before walking into a studio. During our time together, you will receive my
completely unbiased opinions and musical\technical expertise. I believe in getting things right
the first time. No fix it later type stuff. Let's nail it now.
I'm not tied to a particular studio so I can work with you to plan the right studio (or studios) for
the job. Most pro studios will charge extra for a good engineer so by utilizing me, you're not
actually adding to the cost of your project, in fact, I may even be able to negotiate a better rate
and save you time, thereby reducing the cost of your project!
